WTK was this a fair deal 10 X face for halves
 

I paid 10 times face for 1964 Kennedy half dollars. Was this a good deal? I can get any amount of dimes, quarters and halves for 10 times face. The calculator has the value at about $4.53 each for the halves. Do you pay a premium? Where do you get good deals on silver?

A good deal, but not a great deal. At current spot, $12.65, 9.17 times face or $4.59 each would be ideal price. That said, I'd have bought it.:tongue_ma:

ive found the price to be somewhat "sticky" at ~10x face, even thought he actual silver value based on spot price drops well below. I think 9.5x would be good if you could get it for that much. If you looked hard, you could probably find some for cheaper.
